Over the next several weeks we will be exploring the exciting world of Web 2.0 technologies. Web 2.0 is all about information created by its users - users who share it, change it, and use it to connect with others. Each week there will be a few Web 2.0 'Things' for you to discover and explore.
Let's get started! Here are the Things for this week:
- Read about this program to learn what it is and why we're doing it.
- Discover a few pointers from lifelong learners and learn how to nurture your own learning process.

I'm excited about winning prizes. :-> Suzanne at WRL
Hi Suzanne! Thanks for being the first brave one to leave a comment. =) We're still trying to round up prizes. We'll post more details about that when we have them.
I've been reading the 43 things site and find that I have already accomplished some of the tasks...I have a Facebook account and a Picassa album...do we have to 'prove' that we are capable on using these applications or will it be a matter of trust? pat@WRL
This sounds like a cool way to do training! And I like the weekly installments instead of all at once.

In response to Pat's comment - our Learning 2.0 Things won't be exactly the same as the list that Charlotte did. Starting with next week, each week there will be a way that you are asked to show that you have participated. It might be leaving a comment on the blog (just like some of you are already doing - hurray!) or some weeks there might be something else. We hope that everyone will have fun learning and interacting with other WCPL staff - all from the comfort of your own branch at a time that's convenient for you. =)
I'm excited for prizes, too! -Katrina at CAM

Great Job everyone!
It's clear that I have a lot to learn. I just hit a button that took me to a Swedish blog. O the anxiety of floating alone in cyberspace lol Rachel @NOR
New info is always fun! Thanks for the encouragement!

It's never to late to start...I love self paced learning. I'm looking forward to increasing my knowledge of Web 2.0. Thank you for providing this opportunity.
I finally have time to get caught up on web 2.0. I look forward to becoming at least a little more tech savvy.
